About Us

We Are a Humanitarian
Transitional Support Agency
Albany HUTS is a safe spot environment that is designed to foster cooperation, respect, and communication. Many un-sheltered individuals experience profound loneliness, isolation, and lack of social support from the local community. Having a supportive group of peers, in a caring and supportive environment, can make a huge difference.
Our Safe Spot Community is off-grid, lacking hook-ups to traditional sewer, water, and electricity. We will provide portable restrooms, hand washing sinks, trash cans and solar LED security lights. Albany HUTS can offer a safe spot where the un-sheltered individuals can sleep safely and out of the weather.
